Essence of Besta
We are one of the two sub castes of the Telugu Bhois. The other being Gundlodu. According to historians, we have traditionally been water carriers. In Maharastra, our community members are the palanquin bearers or doli carriers. There are 22 sub-groups of our community in Maharashtra.
